AMM received a DOE SBIR award along with a OneNC Incentive Award to support continued development and commercialization of Composite Metal Foam (CMF). These awards strengthen our ability to scale manufacturing, validate performance, and accelerate real-world adoption across demanding applications.

AMM was awarded a DOE SBIR grant supporting work on nickel-based Composite Metal Foam for nuclear-energy-related applications. This effort focuses on material development and validation to meet performance needs in harsh operating environments.

AMM hosted an open house to share our facilities, capabilities, and the latest progress in Composite Metal Foam manufacturing and testing. Thank you to all attendees and partners who visited, asked questions, and explored collaboration opportunities.

AMM expanded shop-floor capabilities to support larger parts, improved throughput, and broader finishing/testing workflows. These upgrades strengthen our ability to move from prototypes to production and support customer programs with more in-house processing options.

AMM received a $1,885,000 NSIC award to support continued scale-up and commercialization efforts. This milestone strengthens our capacity to validate performance, expand production readiness, and support customer adoption of Composite Metal Foam solutions.

AMM was selected as a finalist in the XTech SBIR Clean Tech competition, recognizing our work toward commercializing advanced materials for high-impact applications. We appreciate the opportunity to showcase CMF’s potential and engage with partners across industry and government.
